Special Information

There is a two-week clinical component (named the CAPSTONE) for the Online program that requires the student to be in New York City for two weeks in order to complete the clinical embalming and restorative art labs and the Comprehensive Review requirements. The CAPSTONE is taken in the last semester and scheduled by AAMI. All other courses in the associate degree program may be taken ONLINE.

The final requirement before graduation (which is an accrediting association requirement) is that the student take the National Board Examination (NBE).

A student has 4-years from initial enrollment in his/her first course to complete the degree.
