Admissions Policy


A High School diploma or GED is required to take individual courses or for consideration for admission into the accredited bachelor degree programs.

Level of Course Offerings


International Trade Industry Certification Preparation Courses are at the college level.
Our Bachelor of Science degree programs are accelerated and specialize in International Trade Management.

Course Completions Time and Extensions


Most courses are six weeks in length. Courses have actual start date and end date with up to 15 students in a course. Very much like on-ground courses, except done online in asynchronous format where students can go into the classroom 24/7 to complete assignments and to participate in discussions. The bachelor degree completion program can be completed in approximately 28 months, if the applicant meets the transfer credit requirements. Ask an Advisor for details.

C (70-79)
D (60-69)
F (<60)
Student must maintain a "C" average in the Bachelor Degree Program.

Transfer Policy


This is a bachelor degree program, and students must complete 120+ cedits to satisfy the program requirements. Students may transfer in up to 62 credits from another regionally or nationally accredited institutions or use CLEP credits to complete some of these degree requirements.

Approved for VA Eligibility


Yes; GI Bill, TA, Vocational Rehabilitation and TOP programs toward the Bachelor Degree Program and certification programs.

25% course discount: Military Scholarship (MS) is awarded to all U.S. active duty and veteran students and their spouses (regardless of when they served). The MS covers 25% of the course tuition.

Dunlap Stone University is an Approved Provider of The International Import-Export Institute's Certification program. Dunlap-Stone offers international trade a bachelor degree programs. This is the only accredited Bachelor of Science in International Trade Management degree program offered in the U.S. Other school's international degrees focus on international management-not trade. Our degree focuses on conducting international trade and moving goods and services across national boundaries and around the world.

The International Import Institute is the globally recognized certification body to the international trade industry. Specific courses taken serve as preparation for passing the various industry certification examinations offered.

Individuals who take single course registration can choose to take appropriate certification examinations once they have satisfied the minimum test registration requirements through IIEI courses or equivalent transfers.
Certified Exporter (CE); Certified International Trade Documentation Specialist (CITDS); Certified International Trade Finance Specialist (CITFS); Certified International Trade Logistics Specialist (CITLS); Certified International Trade Marketing Specialist (CITMS); Certified International Trade Professional (CITP); Certified International Trade Manager (CITM); Certified International Trade Educator (CITE); Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO).
