Admissions Policy
High school diploma or equivalent is required for all degree programs. Advanced placement may be granted in AAS degree program based upon evaluation of prior education, work experience and military training.

Lesson Submissions
Students must submit lessons as they are completed either online, via email or via fax.

Grading Policy
Lessons are graded on a scale of 1-100. A passing grade of 70 is required on each lesson.
Transfer Policy
Students may transfer between CIE courses. AAS Degree candidates may apply for advanced placement credit.
Approved for VA Eligibility
All courses approved for VA benefits.

Special Information
Some courses have textbook costs that the student has the option to purchase through our bookstore at cost, or on their own.
Students must own or have access to a computer for 10 hours a week.
Computer Requirements:
IBM compatibles with 640K of RAM or higher.
Two floppy disk drives or one floppy with a hard drive. A hard drive is recommended for ease of operation.
CGA, MCGA, EGA, VGA or Hercules graphics cards. Monitor should match graphics card.
I/O Card, 2 Serial, 1 Parallel Port.
DOS 5.0 or above. Dot matrix printer (Epson compatible). For better quality output, a laser printer is recommended.
Mouse (Microsoft compatible) - mouse is strongly recommended
