Refund/Drop Policy

Students must drop from a course within one week of the term start date to be eligible for a tuition refund if applicable. No refunds are available after the first week of the term start date.

Explanation of Course Numbering System

Courses numbered 001-099 are basic skills courses and do not apply to degree requirements. Courses numbered 100-200 are lower-division courses and are generally taken freshman and sophomore years. Courses numbered 300-400 are upper-division courses, reflecting advanced levels of technical skills and disciplinary knowledge. Upper division work is generally taken during junior and senior years. Graduate courses are numbered 500 and above.

Graduate courses are also approved for VA eligibility.
Credit-by-examination courses: Students may receive credit for select distance learning courses by passing equivalency exams at the undergraduate level with grades of C or better. Course equivalency exams are not available for all courses.
The cost to students per course exam is $100.00. Students who do not successfully pass the exam must enroll in the course and pay full tuition.
