Course Description: Explore the structure and function of the human nervous system to understand sensory perception; movement and coordination; regulation of thirst, hunger, temperature; sleep and dreams; pain management; emotions; cognition; psychiatric disorders and the effects of drugs on the nervous system and on behavior. Build on knowledge of underlying themes and concepts of basic biology such as molecular and cellular structure, genetics and evolution.
